He played that back pocket position well. We tried to make him that pressure forward, didnt take then his injuries slowed him right down. His first couple seasons though he was at the level

Classic VFL umpiring. You can see why we have some average AFL umpires when you see the competence of the next level down. These guys I assume are the best of the best for that level.

Missed frees (ie non-paid) were close to worse than the wrongly paid ones. And they were bad.
