Very tough match to predict. At first glance you would think the Tiges would be too strong, especially in the big man department. Looking deeper though its a different story. While the Blues have Fevola, Livingstone, Carazzo, Chambers and possibly Camporeale out, the Tiges have just as big outs in Hyde, Hartigan, Rodan & Shultz.

Yeah, tottaly.

I was more confident of a win last week than this week, so I'll go with........

Buggered if I know

Should be a good game, pitty I'll miss it.

Even tho the Blues are decimated by injuries and suspension, and the tigers are at full strength, Carlton should be too strong in the midfield, and while their forward line is missing Fevola, its still potent enough to kick a winning score. Carlton by 3 goals after a tight first half.
your joking surely?
Stevens vs Cogs-Even contest both will get enough of the pill.
Kouta vs Tuck-On paper Kouta should win this contest however Tuck,s form this year has been superb.
Where we will have the edge in the middle is with Knobel. His tap work is one of the best going around.

Carlton should win, but they won't.

Pagan isn't getting the best out of his squad.

Wallace appears to be getting the best out of his though.

The Tigers easily.

Richmond have beaten most average sides well, they only have a problem with prospective top 4 sides, so Richmond Easily

Richmond has a more competant list in terms of skill. Conversely, Carlton are not as vulnerable in the head, ( not a Hyde joke), and will persist even when under the hammer.

If Richmond skips away to a 5 goal lead, they'll be a more dogged outfit than Hawthorn were last week and should be able to beat the Blues. But, Carlton haven't played anywhere near their best this season. Even missing Fevola and Campo, ( a possible blessing), they'll be fresh after an eight day break.

Furthermore, Barney is one horney spunk of a man. His breathtaking sex appeal should nullify at least half of the Tiger side.

And French has been great this year

I'd like to take this opportunity to thank Richmond for picking up Knobel ahead of us, because otherwise this wouldn't have happened....

Yet another talented young Blue. :)

Bias: 26-22 Richmond

i'd be more interested in the poll result if richmond and carlton supporters couldn't vote.

But I know we'll win and i'll get a 100$ (which is a big deal for this uni student) on them over 40

what makes you think the tigers are at full strength we have hartigan schultz rodan hyde and johnson who will only play half a game again this week and in saying that the tigers midfield is alot better then you guys obviously think tigers by 45

LMAO who???

the only thing that will save the tigers from the Blues is the fact Carlton hasn't played 4 good quarters in a row (barely even 2 actually) all season.

At full strength and in full flight Carlton is a 5-6 goal better side.
But reality is Carlton are not playing well and are far from full strength because of injuries and suspensions, and that is why richmond is a chance this week.

Definately a battle of the Titans :p

Keep dreaming. When the talented young Blues are at full strength, they have the ability to beat anyone. Consistency is our problem. :)

With a full side we can beat anyone. Just look at the Wizard Cup... :D

Have to disagree.. a 10-12 goal better side. :)

Really hope we win but these games can go either way regardless of where teams are on the ladder.

The fact we are chance at all shows how far we have came this season. Pagan has had the blues long enough now so should really be favourites.

It's true though. They have no-one to go with those players. With Fev out of the way and Campereole likely to miss, the only bloke we should be concerned about is Kouta.

Again Richmond by 41 points (which also happens to be the difference between the teams' For and Against this season).

Nick Stevens to have a field day then ;)

Betts to kick 4 nice ones. It's time for Richmond or Carlton to be realistic, this game will show a bit of where they both are at and if finals are just a dream.

Errr, what about the 6 times Cartlon passed him by and every other club? Good on Carlton for taking a punt on him, but have some perspective.

And by the way, I don't think he'd be doing as well as Knobel in the ruck...

If Thornton does as well against Richo as he always does then we'll win. Eddie Betts and Jarrad Waite will be the gamebreakers. If we're accountable then Richmond fall to pieces, Geelong did this in Round 1

As did St Kilda. The sides they beat (Freo, Port, Dogs and Hawks) aren't the most accountable going around. We'll scrap out a win if we have to. Then we'll see if the Tigers have nerves of steel or not...
