How did Broad go?

Drummond and Conca were the 2 that loked above the level yesterday. Think they'll both add a bit to the 1's.
Chol played back and was pretty good I thought, read the game pretty well, a few times he spoiled when he should've marked but he'll learn.
Moore & McBean both were dangerous at times.
Broad & Castagna both pretty good across half back, didn't think Short was great.
Townsend, Moore & Marcon are all really good VFL midfielders, not sure if they've got the tricks for the next level.
Maric was fine but didn't do enough to push Hampson out.
Our VFL listed players are putrid.

Broad was solid playing loose man in defence, best game I've seen him play live
Yea I just thought he killed it in the NAB and smashed the draft screening.. Hope he makes it

All played well
Bean with 10 marks, but only 1 shot on goal. Must be working hard up the ground.
Interesting that Nathan Broad was named our best. He's been good for a few weeks now. Batch would want to make sure he keeps performing

Needs to now back up his easy game against the bombers. If he doesnt perform vs north drop him for the gold coast game and play mcbean.
Won't happen. Vickery could go statless, Hardwick is committed to him and his dad.
McBean is not on their thinking, which is sad haviong a bloke clog your list for four years without any intention of playing him.
Its just a matter of his tickets running out imo. Dimma has dropped him before.
Part of the problem is given our start we need our best team on the park as our sole focus is still to win.

You'd have thought the Arsendon fans at Punt Road were playing in the seniors and on top of the AFL ladder the way some of them were carrying on. They really are battlers.

Yes- Broad or Drummond would give a lot more drive off that HB line than Batch. It'll come down to their disposal I reckon, is it up to AFL standard.
Interesting that watchers said Markov was quiet, but he had 19 touches and 9 marks. The marks indicate he's working hard to be an outlet from defence. Is that accurate, watchers?
In their defence they literally have nothing else to be excited about.

As mentioned decent stats by Markov for a quiet one. That's encouraging because that was one of the things mentioned in previous coaches reports - getting involved more on general play.
