Last year his first 2 games where poor, but after that played well.

To be fair to the people who have been negative on Ellis. Nobody is wishing any misfortune on him. Everyone here would love him to play a blinder and get us a win. I also don't think that anyone is calling for his delisting either. But tomorrow is a big game and a few people disagree that he's the best option for the Miles replacement.
