He literally had two disposals and one mark despite frequently being involved in marking and ruck contests. That’s after his 1 mark, 6 disposals, and 1 behind game against Melbourne. You know, the game he was subbed off after missing a shot on goal in the 4th quarter.

He really should’ve been dropped this week. If Cumberland had a poor couple of games, then Miller had a terrible couple of games.
Young getting injured saved Miller who needs a break from the AFL team.

Nyuon should’ve been called up instead IMO. He’s had a pretty decent VFL season when not injured, and he hasn’t really had many opportunities at AFL yet. If Hardwick wants to drive standards, then he shouldn’t accept Miller’s last couple of games and give someone like Nyuon a shot.

In typical selection committee fashion, they’ll probably drop Miller this week if he does bad and bring Nyuon in against Geelong. Not surprised if Nyuon then gets dropped after getting thumped by the most difficult KPF duo to play in the league (Jeremy Cameron and Tom Hawkins). Miller then comes back in the week after. I really hope this doesn’t happen.

Hasn’t he only played 1 game back from injury?

Cumberland was poor last week. The previous game he kicked 3 in a quarter. Riewoldt the the thief stole another off him when it was cumberland who tackled and should've got 4, could've easily marked Dusty's shot and he would've had 5. Our F50 entry kicks are putrid. Riewoldts direct opponent was BOG and gave him an absolute shellacking, same as the no namer for the blues who absolutely pantsed him. But yeah lets blame the 12 gamer who'e averaging 2 goals a game and on peanuts salary wise. Lets ignore the senior players on 3,4 and 5 times his salary with 10 and 20 times as many games as him who are doing FA. Lets blame the kids all season. Any medium fwd gets 3 goals in a game is a decent to good game no matter if they get them all in one quarter or spread out over 4 quarters. WTF did people crack it cos he didn't kick 19 and break the record.

We ain’t dropping Jack when Lynch is injured…. and Jack was one of our best against the games best KPD in May.

Our system and lack of cohesion is killing all of our forwards ATM … it’s no coincidence that 3 very talented small/med forwards in Martin, Bolton and Cumberland are all struggling to be scoring threats - it’s because we are so pathetic at the moment with our system. Oppo teams just flood the crap out of our forward line then chippity chip chip chip it out.

We’ve just got to be better at punishing sides with quicker ball movement. We’ve seen in patches how damaging we can be forward of centre when we attack quickly and play with confidence - way too rare ATM.

Averaging 2 goals a game in his short career. Our last 5 games we have averaged 9 goals a game.

So we go and drop him.

Meanwhile Castagna stayed in the side for almost 2 years for guarding space and clangers with far less score board impact.

Genius.
Averages can be misleading.
George brought something we're lacking.Pressure in the fwd half.
Ironic how bad we're now which use to be our 1 wood and the one bloke who was good at was hounded into retirement.
Cumbo has more talent and goal sense than George but he doesn't have the tank or the experience atm too be effective for more than a qtr.

With Castagna gone, Do we even have another small forward to add into the mix?

Miller needs an enforced break from AFL footy. The fact he gets repeated chances despite playing like shite every week and Cumbo gets dropped after one poor game is stuffen BS. Dimma has officially lost the plot.

Cumbo is a one trick pony that can only play a half at a stretch. Miller covers back and Ruck. Not that hard to understand

No need to melt … he will be sub. Let’s not forget his last 7 quarters have produced almost nothing.

Assuming he’s not working hard enough off-field to get the best out of himself then just like Stack, he only has himself to blame.

maybe thats why brisbane passed on him in the draft

Cant understand the hate for HRS, I like him!

Play him in the fwd line this week and beyond. He has good size, can work up the ground with speed and stamina and always kicks a few whenever he plays down there.
agree think his best possie is as a high half forward definatley knows whers the goals are

don’t change the narrative mate - you and a few others are pretty much blaming Cumberland for how easily the ball was coming out of our fwd line arent you?
My response to that is, well if you’re going to have a crack at him for the tall defenders taking 25-30 uncontested marks between them and launching attack after attack from the backline, you should probably also look at the tall fwds that were their opponents.
Are you for real !!!
You really comparing the performances of the 2 players and believe they were the same level fmd
