Dear Sir
Please excuse (any current or past Richmond flog of a person player) from what they did today. They are committed to their community work, and add back to society. They endured a hard life growing up, they were bullied at school, were teased, were discriminated blah blah blah.
We would consider you releasing them from their current charges fitting for such an upstanding citizen.
Blah Blah
Yours sincerely

Seriously Richmond take your medicine, stop sooking it up. He hangs with Toby. Seriously.
but after the Basher fiasco why expect any better

Exhibit A
Seriously tough man JAKE KING - went to court with notes from Dusty, Richo, Gale, March
Character references from a handful of Richmond figures were tendered, along with one from a former police senior sergeant who said he’d seen King help the marginalised and vulnerable, and couples who highlighted his generosity in flying interstate to visit a sick child, and paying for the costs of a baby’s funeral. Mr Richardson said he had seen King perform hundreds of hours of community work, Mr Martin praised him as a mentor, and Richmond chief executive Brendon Gale and former president Gary March said his offending was out of character.

‘‘I’ll come and see you about my offer and then I’ll kick the c--- out of you for being a dumb c---, so it’s up to you.’’
Whoa there cowboy, did your ice dealer just get busted or have you been drinking from the local water taps, that lead will do your head in.

Police interview with Gary Ablett

Garry Ablett:
I think we rolled it up in NOTES - a - a money note.

Detective Sergeant Brien: And how - is that a - a us-, an unusual type method to use heroin that ---?

Garry Ablett: Sniff it?

Detective Sergeant Brien: Yeah, ..... ---?

Garry Ablett: Well, usually they use needles, but I'm not into needles.

Detective Sergeant Brien: Yeah.

Garry Ablett: But I was told that you can use it that way but it's not as effective.

Detective Sergeant Brien: And what - what did you tell Alicia that it was?

Garry Ablett: Well, when - when she asked me, what - what I told her, it was cocaine.

: And you know, it's been some-thing that swayed heavily upon my heart, not only since the incident, but especially since the hear-ing. As a Christian, you know, I feel that it's the right thing for me to do before God is to - to reveal the facts as they happened.

Ill take your word for it but I wouldn't be surprised if it was transcribed verbatim.

"After citing waning interest in school, Ablett dropped out of high school at the age of 15 years to become a bricklayer's labourer."

Im the last person to normally defend Snr but I think you are probably correct, "thats weighed" is almost certainly what he said.

But in fairness to the transcriber it can be hard to understand people when they have just had their methadone.

TLDR
But I bet Geelong's administration wishes Geelong 'supporters' were as passionate about their own parasitic little club as they are about the Tigers.
