AFL website has an article about players who are still out-of-contract as of yesterday. Links are to player threads if we have one for 2019.

Out of contract: Jake Aarts, Shai Bolton, Dan Butler, Mabior Chol, Shane Edwards, Derek Eggmolesse-Smith, Brandon Ellis, Bachar Houli, Connor Menadue, Callum Moore, Patrick Naish, Ivan Soldo, Jacob Townsend, Maverick Weller

Mid-season draftee Marlion Pickett has signed a one-year contract extension as he tries to force his way into the Tigers' line-up for the finals. Edwards and Houli will continue barring a shock, but there is interest in what Bolton, Butler and in-demand free agent Ellis do. Butler's been starved of opportunity, while the other two also have interest elsewhere but have been senior regulars this year. Chol is carving out a niche for himself in the senior team in his third season on the list, and Aarts is likely to be retained as a rookie. Eggmolesse-Smith, Menadue, Moore, Naish and Soldo will have varying confidence of staying on, but Townsend and Weller may be up against it.

As mentioned, Soldo & Chol have resigned already.
Edwards & Houli wont be going anywhere...Retirement maybe, but they'll be with the club for life.
Bolton, Butler, Ellis have currency and will attract interest, Bolton is the only one the club will be trying seriously to retain though.
Eggs, Naish and maybe Menadue have the upside to want to keep but haven't really done enough to attract real interest, so a 1-2 year min wage deal seems likely.

The rest...See if there is any interest, and who/what the club figure are worth keeping around. Delist some, 1 year min wage deals for the rest.

As per the current list at the top of Page 1 these are the likely scenarios:

Shane Edwards - Has a rolling agreed contract in place for him to play on in 2020 AND 2021 at Richmond #FACT
Brandon Ellis - Has contract offers from both Gold Coast and Essendon. Gold Coast offer is roughly double that of Essendon's but reportedly wants to remain in Melbourne
Shaun Grigg and Maverick Weller have both announced their retirements from AFL football.
Ben Miller - Likely to be delisted but a strong chance to be Rookie listed.
Callum Moore - Unlikely to remain at Richmond with both North Melbourne and Hawthorn interested.
Connor Menadue - A 50/50 proposition to remain. Has done well at VFL level since his recent move forward. Could be re-contracted and could be delisted.
Dan Butler - All but out the door for Carlton, has already toured their facilities and reportedly has a contract offer in front of him.
Derek Eggmolese-Smith - A much better than even chance to be retained via the rookie list in 2020.
Jake Townsend - Likely gone.
Jake Aarts - Was a likelt retain until his brain fade in the VFL Preliminary Final. Should remain on the rookie list but not guaranteed.
Marlion Pickett - Has an agreement in place where he remains on the Rookie list for 2020 at Richmond.
Maverick Weller - See Shaun Grigg.

It's a bit hard to say because the whole forward half of the ground seems to be in flux at the moment.

In my opinion it would be
Rioli - top 25 pick, currently out of form overcoming injury

Bolton - top 25 pick, his ability to play midfield to a high level is why I rate him above the others.

Castagna - very consistent with his pressure but always a mixed bag with his shots on goal and composure. In a purple patch right now.

Baker - rates very highly by hardwick who has openly compared him to Caleb Daniel. Another who has midfield ability bit is currently being trialled at half back in the VFL.

Butler - has been out of favour for a long time and has been on the decline since the premiership despite still being very young and having plenty of pace. Getable. Probably for a 3rd rounder...

Aarts - a bit of a WTF rookie selection last year and hasn't shown anything to prove otherwise. Isn't even our best small forward of our VFL listed players.

Aarts was very important. Well done to the guy
