Just read it at realfooty, traded for a mid-range draft pick, dependant on his response from the end of season trip.

Sorry to post a new topic on this, but I know nothing about him, and I was just wondering whether anyone (especially Richmondfan, TigerTuff/Tank) could give me some details.

I know he's fairly tall- can he play as a key position player in the backline? if not- where does he usually play?

Injury prone?

Consistent?

Are you richmond supporter's disappointed/ unfazed to see him go?
(I'll be happy if you are disappointed- sorry!!!)

Westy (with beat up Camira?),

Harrison:

Classic spare parts player. Good to have on the bench (this is NOT sarcasm, I genuinely think he is handy).

Good bench player because:

Can pinch-hit at Full forward because he is a useful mark and can play "big".

Runs all day so can tag or be a midfielder.

Fairly smart so can play in defence. May get beaten but will not have a bag kicked on him.

Plays best a running halfback or defensive midfielder.

Overall, does nothing brilliantly but does everything adequately.

Strengths:

- good size
- reasonably fast
- honest, good attitude
- reasonable shot for goal

Weaknesses:

- dodgy decision making (can try to pass to players under pressure)
- kick lacks penetration so pin-point passes aren't a feature
- hamstrings unreliable
- will be beaten by a genuine "big" player

Overall:

Would be an asset to a team with 18 good players on the field to plug holes and rest players.

Would be a liability to a weaker team that requires him to beat a player for four quarters.

I won't say how good he is just don't get your hopes up!!!

Iam not too dissapointed that he is leaving, I'm just glad it wasn't Daffy.

As Tigertank said, he is good to have on the bench. He is handy and can play almost anywhere. Although, this year he struggled with a hamstring problem (i think) and I'm not sure how well he'll go.
