I'll bunk you down alright! Muppet of the highest order.

What I was suggesting is that with the disapointment at probably not getting number 1, we should do everything possible to get another top 3-5 pick. We need to do that and why not talk about it already.

This draft will surprise you. A very good draft of 40-50 players. Get as many picks in the top 50 as you can.

Schulz, Krakouer Pettifer, Tuck, J. Bowden, Newman, Hughes, Meyer et.al should be used to gain more picks. All have weaknesses.

Start the rebuild (like Whoretorn now). 2 years late.

Watch Howat play, he is soft and no inside ability at all. Only a finisher. We have too many already.

Richmond's problem is we have too many one-way players. Tambling, Deledio, Howat, Pettifer, Meyer. Do not believe in accountability.

This one will shock you! If you can get two top 12 picks for Deledio I would take that trade as well.

We should sticky this tread, as when the championships start posters can do their picks according to form. Why not like I have, have a crack now? Gutless some of you shouting the 'horror' have a crack yourselves you girls.

Weaver would like your thoughts on the players I chose, you recruiting genius you! :thumbsd:

Yes we may have too many inside finishers, but from the look of things you want to get rid of them all!

Newman is a great player and was spectacular on Saturday night.

Joel Bowden can not be traded, Rebuilding is alright but surely you cannot get rid of all your senior players during it, that bodes for many more winless seasons.

Getting rid of deledio, howat, shultz and hughes means getting rid of our current crop of youngsters, our own rebuilding fase at the moment. This is just silly.

We have to go forward as a club, and get youngsters to go with those we have already, not get new youngsters to replace deledio and co, that means our last 3 years have been for nothing.

Infamy
The 3 A's with you muppet. Anytime, Anywhere, Anyhow :thumbsu:

Alastair Neville is another 1 way footballer. Never seen him pick up a man. No accountability!

The one I like for the burgers is a young kid called Gazzo good player. Tough.

Ever heard the expression a bird in the hand is more than 2 in the bush?

One Brett Deledio is worth more than 2 picks in a lottery. You don't get rid of a 20 year old future marquee player for 2 potential duds.

I believe Richmond will do alot of things come trading time this year to escape the maise and mediocrity we have had to endure for so long.

The worst things for clubs like Collingwood and Hawthorn is that we can be better than both of them after this trading and national draft selection process.

Hawthorn are not a good side, and I will tell you that if they make the finals, they will go straight out.

They then have wasted a year for more great kids. ;)

They play an uncontested game style and if a side has good foot disposal against them they will get smashed.

Port Adelaide will beat the poo and wee by over 40 points this week. Take it to the bank! ;)

Hawthorn from here on in will struggle with consistency. ;)

Might scrape into the 8 and go straight out!!

We will beat them in round 15 and then pick and choose wins thereafter to get our priority pick. ;)

:

Sorry to say this but...YOU'RE AN IDIOT. Way to go, get the no 1 pick, build him up for two years just when he's about to begin being a star and become exactly the player we need and then trade him for a top 12 player who may turn out to be a pettifer. Gimme a friggen break.

You wouldn't do say? Swallow and two top 12 picks for Deledio? Or Rischitelli and two top 12 picks for Deledio?
Brent Maloney and two top 12 picks? you get the jist don't ya muppet.

if not fair enough. For me where do we sign?

That was pretty obvious from his first post.

Thank god you're not in charge of our recruiting department.

If I was muppet we would be premiers in 2 years ;)

Richmond will get rid of any potentially good inconsistent players this year for draft picks. Deledio might just be one of them. ;)

Watch and see the sleeping giant awaken!

What a third year player is incosistent. No way!!

If we trade our young kids you're actually putting our development back.

But then again you would be doing the recruiting so i guess you would nab 5 Chris Judd's

there is absolutely no way you barrack for richmond hello1.

JON & Krak for pick no. 65? Any takers? (sarcasm intended)

But i seriously would take pick 30-50 for JON. :thumbsu:

It's time to play the music
It's time to light the lights
It's time to meet the Muppets on the Muppet Show tonight.

Why??

He is only half way thru his 2nd season after having a very injury interrupted first year. He missed half the preseason with stress fractures. So why on earth would you want to get rid of a 19 year old kid before he has been given a chance to prove himself??

I personally thought it was a really good effort by JON that he proved to TW that he deserved a game before the 2nd half of the season.

i think its pretty much the deledio bit that is making everyone angry. i would only trade him if it invloved us somehow getting Jonathon Brown & chris Judd..........fair enough everyone? and i would still seriously have to think about it!

cheers.

i just see no potential there at all. IMO, i dont think he will ever become of anything. sorry, but thats just how i feel.

cheers.

sorry i am just really, really pissed off that we took him at 8 i think. still. some grudges never die.

Just out of curiosity how many game have you seen JOn play at coburg?? Or even junior level??

I'll admit it. I am a man unlike a couple of posters before me. They would be Tough guys / hoons you might say. Pissants.

That some of my posts have been a tad harsh. But in times where we are appauling we need to be harsh on hacks and players who might not be A graders. Especially if we can get valuable picks for them.

The Deledio one was extreme. However, He is not a midfielder yet. He is unaccouable (Damon White) and does not tackle. We would be silly to say no trades for any player when we are sitting 0-9. Just throwing it out there and people bit and bit hard. How unusual?

A ready made tough inside midfielder and two top 12 picks for Deledio is not untouchable. Is it?

Keep Oakley-Nicholls. Seriously will be a player. Loves the game, intense at training unlike Meyer, Schulz, Pettifer et.al. Good leadership development.

I am staggered by the criticism of my posts. Just throwing it out there as to what may happen at years end.

Do not shoot the messanger. You Pissants.

i'm sorry but this is the goofiest thread i have seen - seriously:D

its just past round 9 -and we are discussing our entire selections at this years draft - and we have already convinced ourselves charman is going to walk to richmond for free (without a gun to his head) in the PSD

come on fella's surely we can find more current rubbish to post about, than some "mystic ball" future telling crap:rolleyes:

Deledio is a Midfielder/wing/Forward/HBF. He played all of these positions on saturday night and dominated. Is as close to an untouchable player as we have.

A ready made tough inside midfielder and two top 12 picks for Deledio is not untouchable. Is it?

We already have Foley, Polo, Tuck and Johnson as inside mids. Not to mention Edwards, Connors, Tambling and Deledio will begin to play in that role more and more. We will pick up another inside mid in this years draft. We dont need another one, even a ready made one.

The most sensible thing you have said in this entire thread

I am staggered by the criticism of my posts. Just throwing it out there as to what may happen at years end.

History tells us that the kind of trade your hoping for dont happen and i would suggest it will not happen this year.
