i'm sorry but this is the goofiest thread i have seen - seriously:D

its just past round 9 -and we are discussing our entire selections at this years draft - and we have already convinced ourselves charman is going to walk to richmond for free (without a gun to his head) in the PSD

come on fella's surely we can find more current rubbish to post about, than some "mystic ball" future telling crap:rolleyes:

Goofiest thread = get a life / have a root you cretin.

If people like Astro Boy believes trades and player discussion has not taken place by all clubs even now than he is a little slow. Richmond are in front of every club in that regard. Finally first in something. :thumbsu:

What Does Richmond have to enjoy now?
Finals, Great leadership group e.t.c No it is seducing our hacks for draft picks. Simple.

I cannot believe Richmond fans can accept what is happening under your own eyes!

I wonder what will happen to the 7 players who threatended to walk out of the club if Gaspar retired, will be come seasons end?

Who was dropped for that Geelong game? Krak, Tiv.

Who looked like they didn't care that night? Their were some who tried! Watch the tape again. There were some who didn't want to play! Bye Bye!! tick tock tick tock. :D

The 'loser' 7 will be gone at years end. Because Gaspar was a great leader and captain of our permiership sides. Oh wait.... ;)

pick 2 Trent Cotchin = jet midfielder. inside/outside.
pick 3 Tom Bellchambers(Ruckman)Tap Ruckman/ forward
Pick 18 Will Sullivan Ruckman/ crash and bash
Pick 19 trade Melbourne
Pick 35 Tim Bongetti (spine player/ forward and back)
Pick 51 Aaron Joseph(Mid/ good user/ tough)
Pick 67 Jeremy Laidlaw (utiltity player)

Preseason Pick up
1.Jamie Charman (BL) 2. Nicholas Peters (Rover)

To get pick 3 we had to trade: Schulz, Pettifer, Tuck and pick 19 to Melbourne. Melbourne gave us Mark Jamar also.

Delist: Krakouer, Jackson, Knoble, Moore, Howat. Nathan Brown (retired)

Thoughts??

Will Sullivan despite his size wont be taken at Pick #18

There is also no way that Tim Bonghetti will last till Pick #35

:thumbsd:

Charman has his own business in Brisbane, its some mens beauty massage thing. He has already committed his future to Brisbane. He could do a Mal Michael but...

Howat stays. Moore stays for now. Browny we shall see. Tuck doesnt hold much value in a trade.

Instead of looking at Jamar from Melbourne, how about Paul Johnson? Was highly rated at WCE but left for reasons which shall be disclosed. Getting back confidence after several injuries including a broken collarbone and injured ankle.

By the way hello1, your a knob.

So people aren't allowed to have conflicting opinions these days? FFS, I'm glad I don't live in your world. Above all, I agree with everything said by phoenix_rise and IITB

Yeah yeah yeah!!!

What this thread was designed to do was to speculate about things come November - trades and the like. It seems people, me included have gone away from the topic at hand.

Name players that will be recruited at years end?

What trades will we see?

Provide a run down of what may occur, like what I did.

Don't just post to give cheap shots. I had the guts to have a crack - now fellow posters do the same.

In order what new players will we see at Richmond in 2008 and why? It is that simple.

Most in here blame Miller, Jackson or Wallet for something.

You are the recruiting officer for Richmond. What do you do?

So who else was in this "loser 7" you talk about. And how do you know?

We are all expecting to pick up a young gun with our first selection but history tells us this it will be traded for a lower level first round selection.

Did you assume this from the rumours or have you heard something more solid than this? I wouldn't be at all surprised if true.

Hasn't it happened like twice in 20 years? To get Polak and Johnson.

Actually 4 times in the last 6 years.

Stafford, Johnson, Brown and Polak.

Do people agree with the following trades for picks.

Schulz : pick 15 -20
Pettifer: pick 25-35
Tuck: pick 40-50
Krakouer:pick 45-55
Jackson 55-65
Tivendale 45-55
Johnson 35-45

Delist: Hartigan, Moore, P. Bowden, Howat, Graham, Knoble. If clubs want our delisted players anywhere from 55 +

It would give us lots of picks to ensure a great drafting period with the likelihood of a good player in the PSD. Plus the best rookie list players.

Have I missed anyone?

Thoughts?

With Staff and Browny we just traded away our first rounders (and 2nd for Brown), didn't downgrade did we?

Anyway I hope we don't do it again, I'd love to see us trade our 2nd rounder and a good player for a top 5 pick. Then use our PP to draft a ruckman while getting 1 gun mid and 1 gun KPP in the top 5. This won't happen but it's nice to dream :)

You really want to change over 13 players?
1/3 of our playing list?

Have to get you in the recruitment team......you must be a genius.

(please note the underlying sarcasm)

You don't want to go completely broke on youngsters.

And I wouldn't trade Kane Johnson or delist cam howat

What you say is fair and just.

Have you seen or heard about:

Tom Bellchambers
Aaron Joseph
on your travels: Hopefully future tiges.

this is what you posted before as a quality thread - what a gloriously insightful mind you have - any other wisdom you can instill on us?

i mean it makes sense to trade 7 of our current starting 22 for extremely late selections in the draft - because thats where the best honey is in the draft - at the bottom of the pot:rolleyes:

your either a troll, or an incredibly dumb richmond supporter - lucky you

:thumbsd: shit thread

Look I've heard of Matt Kreuzer and I'd rather have him than Bellchambers, who shouldn't really go first round.

Will try and be nice here...

Cotchin I agree with, but is a monty to go at 1. Future Brownlow medalist!!
Ur looking rather silly saying Bellchambers at 3. He is a battler and a 3rd round pick at best.
Bongetti is not a pick 35 either and I can assure u is not on Richmonds radar.
As for Melbourne trading there 1st rd pick.... No chance!!!!!

Charman would be brilliant, but ur dreaming, and Jamaar is worse then Knoble.

Do people agree with the following trades for picks.

Schulz : pick 15 -20 WE LOSE
Pettifer: pick 25-35 WE WIN (40-50)
Tuck: pick 40-50 EVENS
Krakouer:pick 45-55 WE ROBBED EM
Jackson 55-65 LAUGHABLE... A PACKET OF CHICKEN TWISTIES WOULD BE ENOUGH
Tivendale 45-55 NO CHANCE.... HE'D BE A 65-75
Johnson 35-45 ABOUT RIGHT, BUT AINT GONNA HAPPEN

HERE'S MY THOUGHT'S....
