Still working away until the start of June, I just completely spaced on posting the Brisbane piece here.

I haven't made that mistake this week though! The Richmond post for everyone:

It's only partially about the Richmond game though, this felt like the perfect time to take a half-step back and assess before a large, large five weeks before the bye.

I like the Part A take on the first 6 weeks.

It's almost like they were grading games - 5 against teams in our grade and 1 against a Div 1 side.

My expectation was 4-2 and we achieved that with some noticeable improvements in game style and individual performance.

Part B is the 5 games now leading into the bye.

My expectation for Part B is 1 win and - as importantly - for the average of the losses to be no more than 25 points.

We need to snag a win against better opposition but we also need to be far more competitive - like the Brisbane Gather Round game loss.

That would set us up to be 5 and 6 going into the bye with some very winnable games post bye.
