Ricky Dyson needs to stay

I agree lets keep him, i think he has potential... and the ability to run the lines.

We've been praying for that every year....a little like hoping to witness a glimpse of Halley's Comet. If our other favourite sons are slowing down and struggling to maintain the level of intensity required, players like Dyson should be working even harder to demand they be noticed, to replace our aging heroes.

Still needs to do more to convince me he's worth banking on.

I reckon he's a good size. Not all players can put on weight quickly though.

He took a step forward on Saturday, I hope the trend continues.

I reckon it was another step sideways and generally a poor effort.

As for size.. maybe if he had a bit more of it he'd have a a bit more belief and confidence to run into the right places and win a few more balls.

take melb for example 97 no 1 pick travis johnstone hasnt put on much weight in 10 years, brad green, cam bruce,the same.

seriously mate just stop bagging your players and support them. we all know you dont like ricky. you dont need to reply to every post saying something positive.i dont see ya bagging welsh's size, stantons size, what about fletch. come on just support the team.

also i know one of ricky's mate outside of essendon and he told me that essendon football club wants ricky to get fitter and quicker and have cut down his weight sessions. so how can he get massive if the club is telling him not to do weights.

All I want him to do is play well enough to get warrant selection. The way Davey has.... Winders, NLM, Nash, Slatts

Looking at our midfield I have changed my tune and think he should be kept on next year.

We have to take the punt and hope he can get better.

his last two games have been good. mainly because he has been given a decent amount of game time

i think he is a confience player. so we just have to make sure he gets at least 80 minutes in each of the reamining games
