In 2012 Henderson kicked 6 goals against Port Adelaide in the showdown once. Had 20 disposals or more in his first 10 games for Hawthorn. Kicked the match-winning goal against Sydney in Round 23 2018.

Those are the statistics of a seriously good AFL player.

Correct me if I am wrong but I seem to remember he was top 3 in the AFL for marks in either 2018 or 2019 which is an elite stat for a wingman.

I still maintain he was never given his due props as a player (probably in part due to his appearance and humble persona)

Thats why Im not a list manager, absolute bargin pick and preformed very well. One of the under-rated wingers in the league , Had small but nice little stint with us, All the best Ricky!

I feel that Hawthorn afforded him the opportunity to finish the way he could have always been.

That 2019 was fantastic - that's how I'll remember his playing career - set shots from outside 50m & from the boundary being my highlights!

I was another of the ones that didn’t know why we got him. I then came around to it and he gradually came one of my favourites. His year last year was unbelievable and very underrated by the football media. A very consistent and reliable player.

It's such a shame that he didn't get a go earlier on, but he seemed unstoppable a few times during his purple patch in 2019. Seriously good player when he was on, was a treat to see him play.
