Brett Lee bowling to Petrie & Roughead could be amusing.

From an Essendon perspective (getting them round 1 and 2) hopefully a few broken fingers happen.

Been a great night. The crowd of 17,771 is the largest ever crowd for a cricket game in Tasmania. And well over $200,000 raised for Ponting's foundation!

And broken fingers for Petrie, Hodge, etc?

As always, a few of them took it far too seriously. Tiny boundary, and relaxed (almost sleepy) atmosphere - biggest crowd involvement (Ponting aside) was for Lee's fast, flat returns from the boundary.

Minor incident late in the game when Ponting was "dropped" at mid-off, Ricky stepped back and offered his stumps to the bowler who refused to bowl until he took guard.

Lee bowled some decent heat - gave Roughead a big yorker that got him on the foot and had him hobbling for a few moments. A couple of 'joke' bouncers (way short, wide off) after but nothing that was physically threatening.

Roughead actually looked pretty sharp with the ball, beat the bat a few times and troubled all bar Ponting with his pace.

Matt Hayden bowls about as well as you'd expect, and Petrie muscled him for 4 consecutive sixes before defending the 5th.

17k HUGE crowd. What were the ticket prices like? Did Ian Healy get hit with a vicious rising bouncer that caught him in the throat and bringing an end to his commentary career?
Ga = 10 and 2. For kids, seated = 15 and 7 for kids. Last comment =disgusting. Heals Went alright, got a big cheer. How come you didn't attend? Do you live on the shitty Side of the state? :p
