Is it just me, or is the entire city of Geelong excited about the prospects of the Catters next year ! We appear to have a solid young core of players, sensational recruits in White and Murphy and dare i suggest that we have the best half-back and backlines in the league (c'mon who can beat Sanderson, Graham, Scarlett, Harley, Mcgrath and Sholl etc, and we've made a decent sized profit this year, and we've got a top coach and a decent administration for once. Now i can see us making top four, barring injuries, and if god help anyone if geelong go in the finals with a fired up Garry Hocking, He is ready to prove his detractors wrong and make next year's finals series his 'own'. Percentage booster games should be most of the fixtures at home (esp Fremantle, Port Power and Richmond) and perhaps Sydney away (we always seem to play well at the S.C.G)

G4E -You ask who can beat McGrath. The answer -EVERYONE !!!!
I think Oooh-Ahhhhh will struggle to hold his spot in the seniors next year.Daniel Foster would be a better choice.
McGrath had a 'Barry Crocker' of a season this year. There were times he should of been dropped.
I just hope Sholl stops farting around and kicks the bloody ball next year.

Nah Bluey Mcgrath is still a good player, although i must admit that he really should play for the ball instead of the man, he was caught wanting last year against Norff when Mckernan kicked 8 of the best on him. But i do get annoyed sometimes with Scarlett, he should try and learn to mark the contested ball in the foward line instead of punching it away. Ronnie Burns also needs to get rid of the pill a bit quicker as he gets jibbed for holding the ball a lot.
