The guesstimate from social media posts is that within some groups, it's half and half whether or not their overthrow will be motivated by race-hate or whether it's everyone holding hands and shooting the government together.

The point here is not that the Boogaloo movement is wholly or authentically anti-racist, but that there appears to be a very active struggle within some parts of this movement as to whether or not their dreamed-of uprising will be based in bigotry.

Meds thinks the Nazis were Left wing because 'they were socialists'.
He gets awfully confused by the Nazi party in the US and Europe, the EDL and so forth in Britain standing on the wrong side of the picket lines at rallies and protests, when they should be over with ANTIFA and the Greens.
'Right wing' to Meds means 'Economic capitalist'. He seems to be unable to stop conflating the two utterly different concepts despite, you know, reality.
Presumably because ISIS (despite having all the hallmarks of Far Right wing thought - being nativist, ultra nationalist, reactionary in the extreme, homophobic, sexist, misogynistic, ultra-conservative and so forth) are also socialist (at least they propped up free health care, education and similar programs) then therefore to Meds they're 'left wing' notwithstanding what they use that collective control of the means of production for.
Like; if I assumed dictatorial control over Australia, and seized and controlled the means of production (i.e. full blown Socialism) but then used that absolute control to implement a nativist, ultra-nationalist, conservative, militant, sexist, homophobic State, that persecuted ethnic and religious minorities, women, the disabled, while favouring white, male, heterosexual Australians (i.e I went full Nazi) then to Meds, I would be 'Left wing'.
To Meds however, I must be Right wing because I'm an economic capitalist, even though I advocate for human rights, greater support for the disadvantaged in society, and all that other leftist stuff.
It's not ironic at all. Its an inevitable by-product of far right wing thought. Right wing people believe in a hierarchy and domination and oppose the 'other'. Leftists believe in equality and liberty and embrace the 'other'.
Remember, while both sides have a lot in common (reactionary, conservative, homophobic, sexist etc) they also share a central narrative in common: 'The West is at war with Islam.'
ISIS only do the attacks they do (Paris etc) to fuel the far Right in 'the West'. The goal of the attacks is for liberal democracy to fall, for Muslims to be persecuted by far right wing dickheads and to foster anti-Islam reactions, which in turn makes the narrative of ISIS (the West is at war with Islam) sound much more authentic.
