Rioli to the Midfield.

Never had any doubts in his ability and his potential to make an immediate impact, just whether his body would hold up especially after 2 injuries during preseason last year. I feared the worst tbh.
Although I was surprised that his tank was as good as it was and that he was able to spend time in the midfield, but I see it as more as a bonus since I would've been happy with him just being a pure forward.

We should have no defenders or forwards at all. All 18 players should be in the midfield. its obviously where every player wants to be!

well in a way, it is just a large roving midfield or pack...they're all just inner and outer variations of midfielders with differing skillsets..?

Rioli, he could unwrap another layer this season..capable of much more.
The comparisons to Kerr are quite reasonable.

He has the Kerr-ish smooth touch and ability to take a game on and break play apart.
He may also have a break-out season, if 2018 wasn't enough?
But time will tell..
(Also imagine a more improved Ryan in his 2nd season!?)
(recently watched game vs. Lions? and Oallen was like a pro!)

Most people will have time in the midfield over the course of a season

I think he’s most effective up forward, however short spells in the midfield make sense - he was effective last year when he moved in there

And in games where it’s not getting forward, it means he can stay relevant

However his cousins hamstrings melted when they tried to over do midfield minutes

And willie has already lost a season to hamstrings

Despite him having come back apparently in ripping shape - Let’s not overdo it
