A lot of these big gridiron players don't survive that long. A lot of them basically exchange performance for life expectancy, particularly the big fat ones.

I didn't know either,although it happened 10 years ago so I could have seen something on it. He died quite young as well.

He died in 2001 from a heart attack aged 50.Both his father and grandfather died at the same age from the same thing - spooky
