Pre-Freo I never supported a VFL team, I followed the ex-Souths players instead and this has extended to this day. They're close to my heart, and Cam was absolutely in that category.

Seeing players who grew up supporting the club, cared for the club and was in many ways one of us is always a privilege, and cam was that to a tee. That 5 goal game against North was one of the funnest days at the footy I can remember. Just a complete and utter gut punch

How can the loss of someone you never even met hit so damn hard.

I was a fan of his when he was at GWS and was so happy when he got the Dockers. Gutted when he was delisted and after the reports of drink driving last year it seemed obvious his demons were real and dangerous.
