apologies if any of you read my sledge earlier on the main board. i wasn't aware of his passing at the time and certainly don't approve of dancing on one's grave so to speak. wanted to post as felt disgusted/embarassed when i heard the news not long afterwards.

he was a controversial figure but did many good deeds for carlton. RIP

I too just found out and apologize for the frivolity I have been showing on the board tonight as it is not fitting on the loss of such a great leader of our club - Richard Pratt RIP

At 7pm tonight, my body went cold and just felt weird, this explains why.
RIP Dick.
Thank you!

RIP what you did for Carlton was amazing and I understand as my club was against the ropes. Even though I dont agree with all that you did you are still obviously respected and loved by many. RIP

RIP Sir Richard, I can't thank u enough for turning the club I love back into such a position of power

Thankyou for all you did Dick, you've single handedly lifted the greatest club in AFL back to where it belongs.

I have requested the introduction of a new private sub board where true Blues fans can go and discuss tactics, opposition whatever they like without anybody else prying. We intend it to be called 'The Dick Pratt Memorial Board'.

I've been critical of Pratt and Visy on these boards for the cartel stuff, but I hope that all of this is forgotten now and he is remembered for his philanthropy over the years. Not just at Carlton, but his amazing contributions to the arts (amongst other areas).

It's the least he deserves.

Richard Pratt,

I have shed tears tonight as we have lost a great man.
You are safe now.
Thank you for all you have done for Carlton which will never be forgotten.

You'll always remember your early days on BF, jennynic. Shame it has to be on such a sad occasion. Welcome - hope springs eternal tonight thanks to the great man.
