It is amazing that somebody that was as big and strong as him is gone as young as that. Cancer is a prick of a thing !!!

He played a huge part in my favourite test match of all time.

RIP to a great fast bowler cut down by knee injuries.

He had a great fluent slinger action that was deadly when on target. Used to tear teams apart - incl the great WI lineups in the mid 80's.

Sad day.

Just finished reading the book 500 to 1- Dilley will always be remembered for his role in that game- right behind Botham and Willis.
