Very sad news.

In 1989 I was a young kid. I had to hide behind the couch in our hotel room during the fourth quarter of the GF when Couch and his teammates were running riot all over us. I'll never forget it - was also the best day I ever spent with my Dad.

We had a great team in 1989, but gee that Geelong side was stiff not to win a flag.

I have a minor question - Harry Taylor posted a piece in the Age online today about the No.7, and it shows a photo of the locker: http://www.theage.com.au/afl/afl-ne...-paul-couch-a-fellow-no7-20160309-gnez9t.html

Does anyone know why Couch and Graham's names are in grey, but Taylor and White in dark blue?

Am just watching 30 Years of the Footy Show and for the briefest of brief moments caught a glimpse of Paul Couch in full constume dancing along to Barry Manilow (while Billy Brownless was up on stage playing along on the piano) during the 1996 Player's Revue. :tearsofjoy:

Yes I shed a tear and yes, I still cannot believe he is gone :'(
