I listen to the station a fair bit and Casual Friday is the best show by a long way IMHO.
Tried looking it up for you RU but I cant even find the link on sportsentral.

Casual Friday is the only time I listen to Doran's show, the bloke is a flog, how he got the job is beyond me, he knows nothing about anything.. Rita is good listening, love how she just tells it as she see's it knowing that just about everyone listening will call up and abuse her.

No way, I know someone who worked at SEN 3 years ago and they were history back then even. Agree she is good value. Another show on SEN thats pretty good is gladiators of sport. Its on late Saturday nights, anyone else fans of the show?
I used to like her, now regularly she says some things that make me really wonder...
yeh i listen to gladiators regularly and find it enjoyable. I wrote in the SEN thread though that I find Howard frusturating to listen to often... always asking where ppl are from, brings up irrelevant crap, disrupting ppl, doesn't seem all there all the time...etc

I like Rita and I think she is very pleasant on the eye. At least she doesn't trot out all the same crap that most of the other presenters do. I get a laugh out of her and Harfs but not so much out of Doran. The thing about SEN that annoys me most is the amount of adds they have.

Rippa Rita is fantastic, Casual Fridays along with Born in the USA and The Run Home are the best 3 shows by a mile. All offer up something different with a few laughs thrown in. Casual Fridays top rating show on SEN which says plenty.
Whether you agree with her or not it is obvious she is smarter and better informed than the typical media jock. Has a pretty wicked sense of humour too and not afraid to say it like it is. Plenty to like if you ask me.

Yeah it is. Radio stations sell advertising, the better the ratings, the more they can charge. So if Rita was do damn good SEN or another station would give her her own show. Funnily enough that has not happened.

Tony Martin had the highest rating show on Triple M and he got sacked. Dr Turf is another great talent on SEN and he's on even less than Rippa Rita. BTW Rita's shows is the top rating show on the station so why would she want to leave?
Your hero Eddie was not poached by another station because he was good. It was in the age yesterday that he was for a long time trying to get his own show on AW and they weren't interested so he did the big sell to triple m when they sacked their brekky team. He went to them they didn't go and poach him.
