Well done boots.

The 2nd part of the solly trade and both nominated this year, now all we have to do is give them both new contracts as I think both him and bachar expire end of this year.

Didnt freo say they won with this trade.

I'm pretty sure Marc Murphy did it a couple of years back.

I think Lonergan will win one really soon, he has been as good if not better then Reimers

I think the initial debut comment was moreso in relation to mid-season nominations.

Obviously there would have been a few debutants win nomination in Round 1 over the years, as most of the eligible players in Round 1 are probably on debut, as opposed to the 1-2 debutants each round this time of year.

Anyway, agreed Lonergan must be close, ditto Jet!!

Sorry, but he will have to get it next week, this week will be Bradd Dalziell, 32 disposals(Most ever) on debut, 5 tackles and 2 Goal Assists.

EPIC FAIL.

Well done Kyle. Truly an inspirational player.

To be nominated you must be under the age of 21 at January 1 of that year, must not have played more than 10 games to the start of that season

Lonergan meets the selection criteria. He turned 21 in March and played less then 10 games at the start of the season.

Would be great if he can jag a nom before the season ends.

was listening to him on CH10 news tonight, he said one of the worst sledges his heard this year was when an opposition player said: "your just as ugly as your boots" LOL

Don't worry, Jay is eligible for next years NAB Rising Star, just snuck in by 16 days and 2 games. :thumbsu: :D

Jetta is getting closer and closer every week.
So a bloke that was drafted in 2005 is a chance of winning the RS in 2009? I like it:D:thumbsu: Just hope he gets a nomination but we should certainly start to see some significant output from Neagle next year. Wonder if Myers will be eligible next year?

Our only chances for the rest of the year are Lonergan and Jetta. Fingers crossed at least one of them gets it. Preferably Lonergan so his name gets out there. I personally think he has been better then Kyle, but due to the absence of shiny boots he has not received the attention he deserves.

Myers is for next year as long as he plays less then two more games for the rest of the year

Goes alright that Reimers kid. I see him as a bit of a gamebreaking type with his pace and looks like he can stand up in the big games too. Well done to your recruiting team and good luck for the rest of the season.
