That's true, but then that requires consistency, rather than a few ordinary games being outweighted by one very good one.

Be amazing having 100 nominations for 1 award.

There is 23 rounds to prove yourself , if you aren't consistent enough ( not that I agree with body of work dribble in this thread) or stand out enough in 1 round to put your name up for the award , then you don't deserve it.

Bolton had 1 goal in 3 games prior to the last round. That's what ultimately cost him in the end I'd say given we're now 8 rounds into the season and it's generally around the time they choose their nominations around consistency of performance rather than basing it off a one-off game.

I'd say Stack is closer than Bolton in terms of the next nomination, and should probably be next cab off the rank if he plays another good game.

I've just found out that Shai Bolton made the AFL's team of the week, but Gryan Miers didn't!!
Can somebody please direct me to the best thread to complain about this horrific injustice?
