Not this year for Rivers unless he has exceptional games from now on. Next few years yes, he's got a chance but not this year.

He wouldn't be a contender for centre half back until he starts playing on centre half forwards. Rivers usually takes the 3rd tall and is given freedom in the defensive 50 to zone off.

Spot on. I think he is going to be a very, very good player for us but I think ND is still a little reluctant to play him on the big forwards due to his lack of size. He is getting slightly bigger every year, and next year I expect him to be capable of taking the big CHF's. Remember his game on Brown at the GABBA?
