Its called "Were a bunch of arrogant bastards down at Geelong" syndrome.

No footballer in the history of the game would have missed with Plantar Fascitis or whatever. More player would have missed for "Itchy scrot" or genital warts.

It is an inflammation or tear of the tendon in the bottom of the foot. It is the tendon you can stretch out by rolling the arch of your foot on a tennis ball.

It is a very tough tendon, but unfortunately if it is torn can take a long time to heal. Not suggesting that is what Corey has done. Even if he has strained it I would expect he will miss at least one more.

Probably the worst choice in my whole team was going for Brown/Walker/Hentschel in the forwards.

If only Hentschel was Ziebell. If only! :p
That was my main mistake too. All my problems this season can be traced back to three picks - Hentschel, McMahon and Simmonds. Need to be a bit more careful next year with selecting fringe/old/injury prone players...
