Really nice to see us not completely give in after that heinous 3rd quarter.
Langford & Parish. Huge.
I think we need to seriously re-consider this whole “We’ll play them 22 vs 22, and back our midfield to beat theirs”. We simply don’t have enough quality personal to do it. Just start tagging.
Also nice to see us make positional changes in the last, but how about we do that a little earlier, huh?
I'm fully convinced that we are just cooked as a club. We're so used to accepting mediocrity. Can't see us achieving any sort of success for at least the next 5 years. We need a reset of this club, and it starts with a new coach.
Richmond phone in the last quarter just to * with us so that we keep Worsfold on the useless campaigner. Any supporter buying into this “honourable” loss is a ******* idiot
You go for one night out and return to what looks like it could be a mad come back and then nothing. I don't want the 'brave loss' narrative. What really happened?
Mostly poor game and some key injuries, I think the most obvious thing was the lack of confidence in a working system, fumbling, random play, lack of clean ball etc etc.
At least they never through in the towel. But once again we only played semi competitive football once the pressure went out of the game/got it on our terms.
Langford fantastic that final quarter in particular. Heppell was immense for the majority of the night, Parish was in everything but needed to compose himself before disposing of the ball. Redman is a future 200 game player.
Injuries suck and will ultimately derail the rest of our season. Let’s play some kids.
