This win for Carlton should feel like our wins over Eagles/Norf/Tigers ... you win, but you don't feel good about it. Felt like a total replay of the Brisbane game where the poor start killed us. We would have won if we were full strength. Hell, we would have won if we were half way between where we are and full strength. But by the same token, a good time would have put us to the sword tonight.

Getting real sick of Hobbs, Perkins, Gresham, Prior etc... we have a lot of passengers, I just hope that when we are talking about not having the right cattle its these names we are looking to turn over. But the fact we re-signed Jones who I would put in that group doesn't fill me with the most hope.

we know laverde and prior have limitations but they battled hard.

Perkins being subbed was a good starting point. I think he does need a spell in the reserves. He just doesn’t fully commit to those efforts and looks lazy as a result.

Compared to the kids (and some seniors) it’s a stark difference.

Need to make a point with him on this.

I know we're all biased here, but did he actually get him in the head? The camera angle looked like he got him in the shoulder?

Meh lost to a so called "contender" in their premiership window with a bunch of kids and an injury list as long as my arm by 8 points. Sucks, but I'll take it. Clarke and Johnson are great finds. Kids look very promising going forward.
