Number 9 made some very questionable calls. That little run of frees definitely helped them ice the game..
Carlton fan alias I'm assuming. So much less
Use Less
Gut Less
Heart Less
Spine Less
As per usual we are ****ing hope less.
Not even going to give them credit for fighting back. Show up to play from the first bounce or **** off.
Yeah, really stood out. Martin handballed to outnumbered contests at will in the first quarter. We are not good enough to get out into space. What's up with the hot potato handballs in dangerous positions particularly in defence? Is it Scott's directive? I'm assuming it's to prevent damaging turnovers by foot but it's not helping.
We should ban handballs unless players are in space. Enough of these 2m handballs to under-pressure players in defence.
Swapping Goldy for Bryan drops that by another 2 months on its own!Carlton average age - 27 years 1 month (3rd oldest this round)
Essendon average age - 24 years 10 months (equal youngest with Richmond)
Agree, Gresham was selfish more than once. I'm not sure if he's just wired to try and snag the goal or what it is. His tumbler was some compensation but there were at least two moments I saw where he could have found a team mate and instead minced the opportunity.Outside of a lucky goal he was pretty poor. Way too selfish. In what world was he better?
Commentators said we were on the field for an extra long time before the game... maybe settling the nerves of the young players. 90 000 last night? We need to look at our pre-game routine.
Something is clearly not right.
It is genius if it is so.i don’t mind this tactic of giving the opposition a massive lead in the first quarter and then trying to peg it back - it does make it more enjoyable to watch and then we can take the moral victory when we outscore them and get some happy feels whilst protecting our draft pick in a rebuilding year
Maybe the crowd should rock up at Qtr time too...i don’t mind this tactic of giving the opposition a massive lead in the first quarter and then trying to peg it back - it does make it more enjoyable to watch and then we can take the moral victory when we outscore them and get some happy feels whilst protecting our draft pick in a rebuilding year
Also hawks 6 goals to 1
I know we're all biased here, but did he actually get him in the head? The camera angle looked like he got him in the shoulder?
Will still be suspended regardless unfortunately
Yeah, it is definitely a problem. Also hawks 6 goals to 1
Eagles 5 goals to 1
Pies 3 goals to 1
Just means they have further to fall.Would have loved to kill their year but ah well. Gives them false hope
