McKays selection or not probably wouldnt affect our scoring much either way.

Another big target would probably just see the ball come out more easily from the forward line.

We don't take the ball in fast enough or often enough to bring another tall into the forwardline.
Bingo. We do at least have a couple really powerful pack crashers. Problem is, nearly everytime the ball is brought to ground, we have bugger all players actually able to swoop on it.

Right thing to do for now and when Byrne is ready, White goes out.

McKay stuck in the 2's for now and going to be hard for him to make an impact this week, again.
A little more chance of performing with Graham back in the 2s to deliver it to him. The 2's midfield hasn't been the same since he was elevated.

Kerridge offers more than Graham.
He was good last week,Graham was ok.
Can't wait to see Byrne back in the team!!:thumbsu:

Happy with selections
Macreadie & SPS back is good for development. Most kids getting a run so Bolton balancing development with competitiveness well
Keen to see McKay & Byrne in the side but no issue holding them back for atleast another week.
Hope Marchbank injury isn't serious but rest will do him good. Has had a few knocks over last few weeks.
Keen to see Williamson Pickett Polson McKay and maybe Kerr in before end of year

SPS needs some development time in the 2s. He has been carried through senior football for some time now.

Has he actually played a 2nds game yet?

If so how'd he go?

I'd like to see him spend time as a running defender. Play on a man and create run. Do him a lot do good

I rate the kid, he could be anything, really smart player. Having said that he actually isnt that quick and hasnt shown any real propensity to run and carry. A full pre season will do him wonders but I think he can gain a lot from some solid performances in the reserves

INS & OUTS

Go for it.

Got a good feeling about this game.

Blues by 17!
Feeling very positive about this game - we have improved alot since last time and demons have plenty of injuries

Mangels was traded to Melbourne as part of the Greg Wells deal in 1981. According to Larrikans and Legends, he was very unhappy about it. His whole family were dedicated Carlton supporters with a long club association, and that was permanently broken.

.......Then he started making those dodgey adventure documentaries...mind you Judy Green looked a cracking travelling companion

Think it's more Lamb for Sumner and Samo for Graham
Depends if you're looking at it in terms of traditional position play, or how they contribute to our pressure and possession components.

Lamb is an accumulator up the wing at his best, while SPS has been providing a lot of pressure acts. Ultimately they will be swapping positions a fair bit in this one.
