The OTC boys are discussing whether McGovern should be tried in defence, as he is certainly not succeeding in attack. And besides, he won't fit in the forward line anyhow with CC coming back next year.
And when he blows up due to the amount of possession coming down back and gets a closer look at the Weibot’s guns and monstrous thighs in action, he might reconsider his next drive through experience at KFC!

Just started working through this thread

Jeez and you lot go on about mental weakness

We will be right in this game, like every other game this year

There have been a few games where we’ve been blown out of the park at some stage, and any few goals towards the end merely flattered the scoreline. Hawthorn, Saints, Tigers and Adelaide - we were never a chance as those teams did enough to keep us at bay.

If we are mentally weak, do we come back from 7 straight goals down and beat Sydney? Or were we just lucky and Sydney are even more mentally weak? The issue isnt mental its the way we continue to play when the opposition have momentum.

Hoping we have a good crack this game to go into the off season with some optimism again. Cripps to kick 4 again please.

Think we were well in the game against the Hawks, I agree the other 3 we weren't, especially Tigers and Saints, but they do have better formline

Nothing to play for - so expect a great fighting performance and even a win depending on Brisbane's appetite.
Let's hope both gial kicking and
Kicking arse when it counts are
Both high on the summer agenda at our club.

Mentally weak/ mentally inconsistent... Whatever. Fact is its both and the mental side plays a large part in the huge one sided segments of games we concede.

Casboult will go before gov from the forward line, especially the casboult of the last 6-8 weeks.

Now we have started the trend, which brisbane players will chair Simpson off?

Mitch Robinson will piggy-back him.

Much prefer Cottrell than LOB for the last game, Lochie looked less prepared than Dow against Crows.

Same. O'Brien looked a little lost and Cottrell may be a little harder right now.....so to speak.

Nothing official from the Club.

Hoping some of these signings are made official soon.
Not so much Murphy (although I’d be happy to have him for a cheap 1yr deal), thinking more of Setterfield, Gibbons, Williamson, etc.
I know the list size is impeding a lot of signatures, so surely the AFL need to announce it this week. Need time to confirm who is staying on before trade/FA/draft season.

You need to know before you start trading players or the club? The club would know who is staying even if the official paperwork hasnt been done (as in the 3 you've listed).

Bring back Kennedy, Polson/Philp and Cottrell.

Doc comes out and pull LOB, McGovern.

No point pulling SPS or resting anyone in the last game. Go for the win and finish on a high for Simmo. He deserves nothing less.

Shame Doc won't be there for Simmo's curtain call :(
