There's a disclaimer in his contract which stipulates he needs to have 5 or 6 manic shots at goal each game.

Hird just looks daft up there now, rarely on the phone and we never see him in convo with the box like other coaches do

Part of the problem is the type of game we want to play. We are trying to play a Hawks style but we simply have too many turnovers, dropped marks we should hold, handballs that miss targets, fumbles, miss kicks.

Take Hibberd for example, how many times a game does he miss blokes by hand and put us under pressure ?
or Stanton who continues to be one of our better players but has 5 or 6 times a game where he just misses a target and it hurts us the other way.

The little things are killing us but at this stage it is really about getting a pick inside the top 5 and getting games into a few young blokes.

Am yet to see the game but the last few,possibly all year, Hibberd's hands have been awful. Double grab, fumble, put himself and the next person under pressure.

These guys just can't get the ball quick enough into a position to attack.

Effort is terrible outside of a handful.

Gotta build around Giles in the ruck for 2016. Can't rely on TBC soundness.

Hocking read him really well in centre clearance. And Hocking cleared way for Heppell to receive Giles tap outs. Lot of centre clearance potential with him getting first touch.

Keep building Laverde as a mid fielder. Showed some classy signs. Apart from when he followed the game plan to slow things down and kicked out of bounce on the full.
