It all comes down to this.

Do the 2023 Crows remain a non-finals ugly duckling? Or do we emerge as a beautiful finals swan?

Our home performances have been good. Our games against top four teams have been impressive. We've promised plenty this season and threatened to emerge from our five-year finals hiatus.

But eventually it comes down to winning a crunch game against a team who will be equally desperate.

We certainly haven't left any experience in the shed.

In the words of Phil Walsh:

"Just get the job done."

Looking forward to this one, hopefully we come out firing as we have in other big home games. Crows by 24 points.

This is Rankines time..... This is HIS game to stamp himself and claw us over the line.

Arise Sir Izak.
And these conditions will absolutely suit a hard at it tough pedlar to a tee..looking forward to a real impact game from him...oh wait

Its wet..if it stays wet it will not suit our tall forward line
??
Did you mean their tall forward line?
The Crows' only goal-kicking, in-form tall lately has been Walker and you can put him down for a couple even on a wet day.
Rachele with Rankine returned + Keays and McAdam should be able to crumb the spills even if the Crows' bombs-away delivery returns. In fact, chaos-ball going forward might be the way if it stays wet.

This sounds downright optimistic by your standards
We're not bad but we are better against top 4 sides than those around us. As seen by our 2-7 record against teams +/- 1 win on us including several pretty dismal showings.

Sydney are in red hot form too

Thats 10 goals. And the rest?

Chaos ball isnt in our DNA yet , we will try and pick it up and get tackled or miskick it or a sloppy handball

If I'm coach I would get tapes of Bulldogs games and instruct us to move the ball on in any manner possible, soccer , punch, slap etc - only try and pick it up if clear

Thinking of miskicks - Keays could kick 5.0 today
