I hope we can build enough confidence within this group to develop the sort of composure that good teams have.

To be able to work our way through some awful football and win is a real credit to the group but the quality of our football today will have us lose 90% of our games. We were just lucky that GWS were abysmal and accommodating turnover merchants.

Bit of a slog to sit through but nice to see another win.
Phillips was good especially early when he looked like the only guy capable of marking the ball. Merrett was very good and great to see him kicking goals.

Redman, Kelly, Laverde and Martin also good.
Stringer looked bog average and still managed 4 goals.

Time to give Jones a run in the 2s, and maybe Davey as well

Jones needs to remember his job is to kick goals. Definitely should have gone for that goal when he was about 50 out directly in front.

Also, I thought Hepp did ok. As I said in his thread, he has experience and a decent tank so he might not be a bad choice as a sub. Ideally, he comes on a bit later though.
