Another tough task for the MC, but an even tougher task for the EFC

Walker a definite in, with McLean thereabouts.
Not an easy task..........................again

Need to focus and not get ahead of ourselves and slip up as we really should handle the bombers if we turn up hungry.

Think we'll struggle because our pre-season form hasn't been great apparently.

Somewhat disappointed to have to agree with you, but Lucas's attack on the ball was somewhat behind his fellow man.
That will be the net result, and will cost him his spot next week.

Hope Essendon win on the weekend, so they can pump themselves up a bit. Always makes it more enjoyable.

Another big game, against another big rival. Despite being 2-0 the Bombers haven't really impressed me too much. Lucky to hold on against NM and were challenged by Port until they ran away with it in the 2nd qtr. A soft game for them tomorrow night against the GC.

I am pretty confident we will knock the BOmbers off. Their midfield is still a distinct weakness and they don't have much depth through there. Their small forwards are an issue. I think we can really expose their one-paced midfield. Big game. Just hope the team doesn't get too far ahead of itself.

I think Jamison has to play in defense permanently. I am not a fan of the forward experiment.

Duigan to not be the Sub.

Walker in for Bower.

Would wait to see how Army's knee comes up.

And dont judge a player by one game. Some selections are about development for later in the year. Lucas is still learning the game.

But I heard Tex was fit enough to play against the Pies so you would think he is a certain start against the step ladders. Someone will be unlucky to be dropped from a 10 goal win against a fellow top 4 opponent, just as T-bird was after a 15 goal win.

Knockers will need to play out of his skin to get a look in if Hammer and Kruze stay fit. Just cant see him budging them at the moment.

What a fantastic, even spread of talent across every line we have built.

Fairly confident Walker won't come up for Essendon.

If he's not fit, no change. If he is, Walker in for Bower. I've liked Bower's year to date but if we are going to try and play him predominantly forward as we did tonight then it's no contest.

Don't see the need to rush Walker. Let him play with the 2s and get his feel for it again. If Army doesn't come up then maybe put him in, though I think T Bird is also adequate.

Changes depend on Army's knee and Walker's fitness.

Carrots to Watson.
Robbo or Gibbs forward to Fletcher.
If Army is fine, I think I'd like to see him run against Stanton.
Keep Jamo and Bower in the backline, put Gibba forward instead.

Anything less than an 8 goal win would be pretty disappointing.

No change. If Dennis misses due to injury bring Walker back in if he is ready to go.

Duigan to play a full game, Lucas sub.

did a simalar knee to army recenly.

It was fine while i was still warm but once i cooled down it hurt like all f....

wouldn't be suprised to see him rested. mclean would be a one for one replacment, however not as flexible. Walks or ellard (if he's right) would be good

Assess later on in the week but the fact he came back on after colliding with Judd is a positive sign.
True but with most injuries adrenaline gets you through the game and after that you pull up sore and stiff. He'll be fine though he'll probably just be sore for a while.

Can't wait for this one already. Another big test in front of another big crowd - bring it on!

After a performance like tonight it's pretty difficult to single out someone for demotion to the reserves. Very even performance from the boys, we had no-one that put in a 'bad' performance.

The only player I could justify sending to the Northern Blues would be Lucas. Certainly wasn't a poor performance, but he was probably our worst performer on the night.

If Walker is ready I'd bring him in, at Lucas' expense. Not interested in bringing him back in if he's even the slightest bit underdone though - we have the depth to cover for him.

Armfield definitely won't be dropped but he may pull up a little sore. His pace would be a real bonus against the Bombers but we're in a position where we don't have to risk anyone - particularly this early on in the season.

Out - Lucas, In - Walker is the only change I'd be considering, but again that's dependent upon Walker and whether or not he's ready, and of course how the rest of the boys pull up.

In an attempt to protect the percentage they built up over the first 3 rounds, Essendon will be requesting the game be moved to Etihad. Or Tulla.
