Redman played alright but there were certain moments that I absolutely loved out of him. He was playing on the very dangerous Stephenson and whenever he was in a position where he was going to lose the contest he always made sure to prevent Stephenson from having an opportunity to play on with little time wasting techniques and intentional frees against. It was some clever stuff. Stephenson ultimately had very little impact on the match and that's a good effort from him.

I also have a lot of faith in Ridley who is really emerging as a player. He still had some awkward moments but his kicking and steady decision making was a godsend.

We got back into the game when Collingwood’s pressure dropped away. Probably due to fatigue off short breaks.

Our “gameplan” remains suspect when the top teams bring the pressure. GWS shut us down, St Kilda shut us down for a large part of our game, and Collingwood did early today and put the match out of reach.

Melbourne and North applied as little pressure as you could imagine in an AFL game, and the results showed it.

We play the game substantially different to the modern trend. The jury is well and truly out.

Joey D looking good.

Cats are another team who have improved their pressure game.

Thoughly enjoyed the game with the daughter actually losing he chi in the dying moments to a level I've never seen 😂 Even bad launguage was involved...

Can't quite work out if the Umps do that crap on purpose or its just the intensity...

We obviously bought Dylster with a goal chastity belt attached...

Ohhh in case you didnt know, Buckly is a moron for thinking the Boo's were for Pendulls...

On the internet people post on forums/social media at things they dont like.

People boo at things they dont like at the footy. I guess the booing is largely due to 50,000 people finding it hard too say "bloody umpires" or "pendlebury's a diver" at the same time..

We also had players playing for free kicks, pendlebury did it better though.

On to the game. We can match Collingwood. Dominated them from the second half of the 2nd quarter onwards. I was worried about tough pressure games, but we proved today that we can play that way. 164 contested possessions, 73 tackles, 40 clearances (to Collingwood's 29 mind you). That can stand up in finals.
We also had the legs in the last quarter to run out the game. Bring Fantasia in and we win the game.
We took long to adjust to the pressure, but once we did, we were the better team.

Optimistic about what we can achieve this year.

Absolutely the worst, most conspiritorial umpiring I have ever witnessed. You know it's ****** when the opposition stop because they know it's a free but the umpires call play on. And this happened on multiple occasions!
