Stager won the medal FFS
Pendlebury is in the top 10 players I've seen. I love him. And I'm 41. But his ducking off his head in that last quarter was so cowardly. One day a player will get a broken neck or a serious head injury with an attempt to get a free kick like that.

Gave it a red hot crack! Kudos to Saad to keep moving the ball with 10 secs left whilst injured. Shiel obviously needs to work on goal kicking.
Umpires bewildering!
Bloody great game though these two teams will never be replaced as the two sides competing on the marquee Anzac Day match. Update on Smith injury?

We need more from players like Hurley and Zaharakis, Myers etc...Even Hurley playing up the ground, just one goal from them and we win. This is an ongoing issue. But we lacked goals from quite a few players. Nothing from Brown, Tippa, Mckenna, Hooker. Players who can take the game on.

Whole team turns up and we kick 130 points.

Not overly happy with the team.

Umpire whinging is pointless.
But it's fun and makes me feel better.

We had 3 chances to clear it from half back in the last 2 minutes and we ****** up every one of them.

Great fightback, we can match them. But we can't have many slip ups going forward unfortunately.

Hopefully Shiel reflects on that performance and fixes his game. Comes to Essendon to play in the big games like ANZAC Day and then completely fluffs it. It's great to get the ball 34 times but I reckon less than 10 of those touches were actually beneficial to the team.
