He miked it beautifully. he knew what he was doing and he knew the outcome. Not going to hold it against him. Up to the umpires not to pay it.
Oh, correct. I'd love the umpires to pay the free against the player that does it. Unfortunately, the AFL won't change it until said player gets seriously injured.
It's a disgrace that's exploited all to often for me.

Not important
So as soon as the umpires lave the ground, you're not allowed any further emotion for that game?

Now I know what I've been doing wrong...
The way I look at it is this. You've got a choice to either show some class and cheer a great player in Pendlebury or act like a full blown knob.

It's akin to yelling at someone who's not even in the room, let alone vicinity. it's mental.

Look, once the emotion wears down, we actually weren't terrible. Collingwood are arguably the best team in the league and we had the better of them for 3 quarters. Collingwood held on, but that's a game that could've gone either way. We lost the game ourselves with our shithouse finishing; Collingwood didn't really go out and earn that win.

Disappointing not to get the 4 points but at least we aren't Essington.

Ouch this one stings but we screwed the pooch in the end, those last few turnovers cost us.
For anyone wondering dont go over to the main board its pretty much:
- Essendons grand final
- collingwood in denial about umps despite neutrals more vocal as us
- collingwood grandstanding about lack of class and the boos - ahahahah the hypocrisy from that scum

Players lost the critical moments. Moore takes the mark at half back, Hurley runs under the ball at the other end. Saad unable to pick up the ball. Walla's shocking kick into the corridor. Shiel not going hard enough, and I forget who, but somebody, possibly him, pulling up at half back instead of going in and getting the ball and getting crunched. They just won those moments when it mattered.

I thought that game had everything and then Bucks inserted his lack of self awareness to put the cherry on top.

Pendlebury is unobtrusive to the point of being boring, how anyone could think the booing was directed at him is dead set staggering.

He doesn’t even almost have a defining personality trait and he played a great, clean game.

No, but anything less than a win after that umpiring, with the game coming down to the wire was always going to be emotional. Collingwood song seems a bit subdued too. Bad umpiring leaves a bad taste for everyone
Really? You reckon the pies were flat because of the umps?

Come on mate.

What?? Our blokes tried their guts out. Don’t confuse this with other losses and certainly don’t be telling other supporters how to feel especially when you would have been negative with a 10 goal win
Why would I be negative with a 10 goal win? I just don't accept losses.
