Wish we kept on thrashing them in the second half. I had a joke ready to go that the Swans must have thought it was a Grand Final.

Lack of polish still really hurts us. Missed handballs that halt momentum or kicks that go over players heads at critical stages. The effort has generally been there. Just need to be able to convert more of the 50/50 chances and nail a few more in close handballs.
Second half we kicked down the line too much when we were set up too far up the ground. Work rate dropped off a bit and we had no run.
Goldstien deserves a tick in the last 10 minutes. Made some smart choices with his disposal and did not lose his head.

Fantastic first half from Reid and Mckay. Forced Sydney to change tactics in the second half. It's good to know that they have that in them when required.

Beating Sydney felt so good, hate their brand of football and can't stand their cheer squad either. Was a funny game to watch, a lot of players were really quiet but I think overall the team structure looked a bit steadier. Bit lost on Redmans form atm, seems bit behind in his decision making and pace. Getting used to seeing him setup other teammates with slow reactions.

The long kicks down the line were doing my head in. Over and over again for the same pressure invited back in.

After we got it to that 40 point margin in the third our disposal absolutely fell off a cliff. Handballs behind runners, simple chip kicks missed and easy marks dropped. Invited Sydney back into the game. I know we're a young team but most have multiple pre seasons under them. Don't understand why we still can't run out a game....

With that said, I would have absolutely taken an 8 point win over them mugs had it been offered prior, one day well get a percentage booster!
