Jack Clayton smll def Brisbane Academy.

Clayton wasn't drafted this year after spending time with the AFL Academy, Lions Academy, Lions NEAFL team, and the Allies under 18's team. A small defender with good skills. The club believes training exclusively with it's academy [and seniors] through the preseason will improve his game immeasurably.

Connor Rozee Fwd/Mid South Australia.

Highly skilled forward/midfielder who executes effectively by foot, has vision to spot up targets inside 50m and finishes effectively around goal. Strong mark overhead with sticky hands. freakish at ground level with his pickups, acceleration and change of direction. His commitment to pressuring the ball carrier and laying tackles in the front half is also first rate.

Jackson Hately Mid South Australia.

Productive midfielder who averaged 19.5 disposals for South Australia during the under 18 championships. Has the versatility to also play forward or back. Strong overhead mark and has clean skills, vision and decision maker. Represented South Australia in junior cricket.

Max King Forward. 201cm 82kg Sandringham Dragons/ Vic Metro
Max King has played mainly in the forward line and occasionally as a ruckman so far and impressed the Dragons at times throughout his bottom age season. He has a good turn of pace for a player his size and is able to get around the ground with a strong endurance base and aerobic capacity. His marking is also top end, having shown he can take a grab on the lead or in a pack situation. Early top 10 selection.

Isaac Quaynor Defender 180cm 77kg Oakleigh Chargers/ Vic Metro
Quaynor has been something of a surprise packet as a bottom ager, blossoming into a damaging, creative and smart half back for Oakleigh Chargers late in the TAC cup season. He reads the game well from there and has nice skills to offer. Collingwood has Quaynor in its Next Generation Academy.

Curtis Taylor Midfield 186cm 74kg Calder Cannons/Vic Metro
Taylor has some real class and that comes through in the way he plays through the midfield. He's a good kick, and he also uses his solid height to take some marks around the ground. Was one of seven players who were added to the level two NAB AFL Academy squad for 2017/18, showing he made an impression as a bottom ager and is one to look out for in 2018.

Luke English Midfield 179cm 78kg Perth/ Western Australia.
A star in the making, English produced an outstanding season for the Demons that saw him claim the Jack Clarke medal, the WAFL Coaches award, the Perth Colts Best and Fairest and selection in the WAFL Colts team of the year. he led the league in possessions [475] and ranked fourth for tackles [108] drawing comparisons to Adelaide's Matt Crouch. The 2015 West Australian State schoolboys representative produced several best afield performances including against West Perth [34 possessions, 8 tackles,3 inside 50's and 3 goals] against Subiaco [25 possessions 4 inside 50's 3 tackles and one goal] and Peel Thunder [17 possessions 4 tackles 3 inside 50's and 3 goals] to be the first player since Jordan Eastwell in 2008 to poll 50 plus votes in the Jack Clarke medal. English has a bright future ahead of him.

So basically Willo 17, everyone sounds like a superstar this far out?
Seems that way ponsdale, the people I am quoting seem to have different favorites. The draft should be a very interesting affair if they are all as good as claimed. so you ain't seen nothing yet, some more good talents to come they say.
