I was just reading an old thread and was about to give someone advice about a plant they liked.

I saw one growing on the roadside out near Tailem Bend and was going to advize them to drive out and dig it up.

Are you allowed to do this? There were hundreds of this particular plant in the area but I wasnt sure of the legal side

I couldn't find anything on google

The plants/shrubs/trees that councils plant are great because they are by and large low maintenance.

There are plenty of signs around council land saying you can not disturb local flora and fauna, play golf, consume alcohol etc.

So just admire from afar and don't take a cutting.:think:;)
