We should have BigFooty Gameday Thread Round in the AFL. Coaches have to make moves based on live posters instructions. Blokes would be dragged 3 times before getting to the bench and then sent straight back on before getting off the ground. Then the runner tells them theyre shit and theyre playing VFL next week and will probably be traded for a packet of chips before they kick a couple of goals and get chaired off the ground

No, that's way too positive for BigFooty - Once they're doing well it will be straight to "they're going to leave the club on big money and the club is at fault for not re-signing him earlier".

It makes me want to puke saying 'Hawthorn did/does it' as they are the benchmark right now, 'again', with list management. But they have been the masters in recent years plucking these sorts of players through trade/FA mid-season draft etc. Steele will only get better even at his age as he adapts to AFL level and is a really good find in an age demographic we are wanting.

Roan has a few deficiencies but his goal kicking is elite. Rarely misses and has nailed some excellent goals this year

Yes he has acclimatised fast to the higher level, and shows skill under a fair amount of pressure. A credit to himself he works so hard abd concentrates so well.

We do have a few wispy fellows, Roan and Jaicos, although hopefully they get stronger with age. Naicos certainly has, faster than Josh, and is less easily skittled than in his younger years.

Peter was the same, seemed tiny at first, then turned into Sam Sawnoff, impossible to knock him over.
