Of all the meaningless stats in footy, average speed would get my vote for most meaningless. Most of the choppers running around the Tan at lunchtime today are doing it at an average speed greater than 9.4kmh.

I had concerns about his pace which were clearly misplaced - he showed a great deal of maturity and footy IQ last night to add to his skill. We definitely have a good one in Roan.
