I know it's still very early days but has Ryan put on any weight from last year? How has his form been in the VFL?

He definitely has the height so if he can fill out and develop he could be a pretty handy prospect going forward.

Also, if he does play this week let's hope he gets an official disposal stat. All the best to the young bloke regardless.

Ryan is looking bigger in the legs and hips.
Definitely been holding his own against heavier opponents. Unlike his first year when he was getting easily pushed out of the contest by blokes Aarts size.
Also been playing close to 100% ruck this season and sometimes fatiguing in the second half.

Still not holding every mark he gets his hands to, but definitely improving.

At full strength yes we can beat anyone, unfortunately, we do lose players quite easily.
Spot on, V Freo next week we may well be at full strength as I got the impression that dusty and lynch will play plus Ross will also be available!

I wouldn't make Ryan the sub, the sub must always be a runner. We saw what happened when we played the cats, Prestia going off and Soldo on.
