Biggest concern out of this game was our skill execution, Both young and experienced players turned it over way to much.

Taj needs to work on his kicking in the pre season

Check out the stats from today's game, makes for some interesting reading. Essentially we won the majority the key indicators, only one inside forward 50 less than the Cats.

The game along with numerous others this season was in simple terms lost because of our poor turnovers from skill errors combined with poor decision making and our lack of cohesion inside 50. Hoping this can be addressed in the off season.

Otherwise it's getting another pre season into the young guys and hoping the injury Gods are a bit kinder next season.

Hopefully the Cats' efficiency inside 50 tonight wasn't a sign of what our defence is like without Tigger. Our F50 entries sure need work. Cats player all look so skillful, maybe it's the way they're coached. I hope we have the right combination of assistants and stuff, and hopefully less injuries next year. Would be nice to have a bigger midfield group to pick from

Cats a top 4 side going for the flag like it not. Anyone thinking we we're going 4 qtrs with them are in fairyland as a rebuilding side. Good second half and bad patches first half. Disappointed in the senior group last 2 weeks to many went missing and a few of the second tier. Overall we seen a lot of greenshoots the spine is there in defence and forward line the most important components in a rebuilding first up. Need to address speed in the guts, run off half back and ruck. Plenty of talent to come in that side still the plus. Short for me is on the tradeable, and will say it again that midfield of Ross, Hopper, Taranto and Prestia I don't want to see it in 2026. Either Taranto plays forward with time in the guts or one of him and Hopper is traded. Prestia for me doesn't sign on as a player as a development coach. Pick 2 and 3 grab talent or make one pick into 2 top 10 picks etc or into 2026 draft. We do need to target a few fringe players not getting games at clubs alas Houli and Grigg.
