Why was the game moved to Metricon? What was the actual reason? I think Macca's injury has resulted because of it, perhaps being due to decreased time for warming up.
I guess the actual reason would have been that Brisbane players would not ave been able to go home to their families if they were not in QLD before midnight Friday due to border closure

Brisbane was already in Melbourne, they took the same flight up as us.

Yeah but the qld border was closing Friday night, they would have had to play the game a few hours earlier if stayed in Melbourne. They wouldnt do that for a Friday night game. Surely it was better to play with some crowd than none at all anyway.

Parker was playing wing at South Fremantle before we picked him up in the mid season draft. From memory he was killing it in that spot.
Seems to me thats his position and we should play him in it with Pickett on the other wing. Just a thought.
With Macca out that’s where I’d play him, had some nice entries i50 , needs to get a better feel of the pace, he ain’t playing wafl no more and how his teammates roll too, certainly wasnt afraid to get hands dirty

Agree completely, we ran out of legs in Perth and against Pies because there was too many kids that can't run out a game. Naish and RCD (and Chol) can play 60% game time while Aarts, Castagna, and Garthwaite run 15km every game. The kids want to play, they got to start running harder for longer

Agreed. I don't know if Chol will ever devlop a big enough tank - he's had long enough to do it. RCD and Naish can develop it. No doubt the fatigue factor got us in Pies and WC game...

Also weren’t as hard to beat without a plus 15 free kick advantage , just about all leading to an i50 , like carrying 62kg in the saddlebag
Apart from the obligatory non-holding the ball calls, we did seem to get a fair shake for once. And that's all we want; a fair shake.

I'm surprised Fagan didn't complain about the umpires during his press conference.

If he can reproduce last night regularly as a specialist 2nd ruckman you can live with it

Yes that was his best ever game - however he's been around quite some time. I'd be happy to us to retain him if CCJ goes but not sure we keep both. We'd then have Nank, Soldo as our first two, followed by CCJ, Nank and Ryan with Mate as a backup (and very speculative). 6 rucks on the list?

I reckon CCJ is a KPF and with Reiwoldt 33 and Lynch 29 he will be very important markung option for us who only rucks in the forward line

CCJ would take jacks spot when he retires, he’s a key fwd not a ruck. I hope we keep both chol and CCJ. Both are still young and we all know big guys take longer.

I think we are going to need someone more mobile when JR goes. CCJ is basically Lynch but not quite as good (yet or possibly ever). Chol has the tricks, does he have the grunt?

The 64,000 question is , working in tandem the key to unlocking cholly best form , spares him from being gassed at 3/4 time

It probably the last two weeks as the only ruck that unlocked this performance on Nanks return....

Should I send Revlon my bank details or will they mail me a cheque for $64K?
