If was just a clean out and he gets through training may as well play him
we dont mind sending campaigners on with acl injuries so I cant see us holding them back.Do we risk Hopper and Grimes for the Dees?

No need to risk anyone. Though I do get the feeling the timeline for Hopper's return has been suddenly accelerated after Taranto and Ross went down.Do we risk Hopper and Grimes for the Dees?

Yes you are right about everything, I have no idea and Bolton is the second coming and the answer to all our problems.A downhill skier isn't a player is one that performs when the game is easy and doesn't when it's not. E.g kicking a bag in thumpings and not touching the ball in close ones. That isn't Bolton.
He's also not just doing the easy work. You act like he sits in the goal square and collects the easy goals when really he is creating them as much as any ayer on our list. He creates goals at times when it doesn't even look like we'll get a good shot through his skill.
And 'waiting for our midfield ' to win the ball...what an odd way to describe a forward. That's literally his role the team asks him to play.
only player in afl history that has had 6 weeks off after a simple arthroscopeNo need to risk anyone. Though I do get the feeling the timeline for Hopper's return has been suddenly accelerated after Taranto and Ross went down.
only if they're 100%, but they won't really add much IMHO.Do we risk Hopper and Grimes for the Dees?

He's had 4, which is pretty quick really.only player in afl history that has had 6 weeks off after a simple arthroscope
Kick it to space and kick it along the ground. We aren't winning without Balta and Lynch
Lever and may will have a field day
Every week will be a loss untill atleast one of them return we simply don't have enough fire power up forward
If we just bomb it long to Heaver and Slay then we deserve to loose. You'd think Yze knows this intimately having come from the Ds. We can either play a second ruck/forward deep to make them accountable or stay small and go inside 50 with plenty of dirty ball.We aren't winning without Balta and Lynch

hopefully both do massive hammies at trainingWe aren't winning without Balta and Lynch

I just thought about thisWe aren't winning without Balta and Lynch

Which young player with a future will they drop for Grimes who will retire at year's end?
I hope Yze has the steel in him to keep Young, Miller and Brown in and not panic and drop them for Grimes' experience.
Yes they were s**t on the weekend but Grimes has been below average all season prior to his injury.
Shorts out with a calf isn't he? Or did scans clear him? It’s as plain as day. Grimes into the backline, Short onto the wing, Macca to the VFL. Short has been poo this year, and Macca has been diabolical.
This helps stiffen up our defence as Grimes is an old head and can take a small/medium. It frees up Short and it gets rid of Macca.
