Agree with most of your analysis, but we didn’t hold the saints at all imo, just lucky they couldn’t kick straight. We also got some pretty low percentage goals ourselves early through Bolton and Edwards. I think we’ll lose comfortably next week, but only because it’s in Adelaide. Hope I’m wrong though
So you count there missed shots at goals , and billing’s , Marshall , king and battle simply never kick straight so nothing new there but you don’t count lynch 2G 5 ,,,modssssssss troll alert , try a little harder next time

On the other hand you could argue the game was already decided and mostly junk time

Even with the 'lucky' goal after the siren

One player I’d seriously look at playing a defensive role on is Hartlet who gives them a lot of drive and often penetrates the oppositions press.
George is doing sfa atm so if I was Dimma I’d instruct him to wear Hartlett like a glove.

Just remember the last time we played them we were missing....
Asprey
Prestia
Shedda
Houli
Cotchin
ANd chol still had a day out.
They don't plat well when a team has a tall forward, there tallest defender is 193cm and lynch is 210cm off memory

17 v 28 scoring shots last time we played v port. Their clearance work is our weakness

wish we got port in the first week like geelong. Much harder at Adelaide oval

We have improved our clearances and contested work last 3 games you be suprised alot better due to Titch, Prestia and Bolton.Broke even just about with lions and won it against saints.

Another interesting fact is Stanley won the hit outs against Ladhams and Lycett last game.I think alot is being made of Ports performance against cats I didn't see it convincing cats didn't take there moments in the game they we're in it.
Yep Hawkins kicks even 3 of those goals he missed and Geelong probably win that game.

Dimma signalled Chol out twice in the after presser as someone who will be looked at next week as backup ruck, not like the backup for Lynch in the last lions game.

Got the feeling he wasn't overly keen on how the Ashbury experiment played out even though he joked about his head wobble.

If a change was to happen, it could be an unlucky Broad for Chol as Ashbury will have his hands full with Dixon, and Balta has only had the 1 hit out all year so he isn't going to be the magic pill in a hostile prelim.

No hope Chol comes in, I heard that too just talking funny buggars. Broad in made us more flexible. Broad adds speed, hardness and can run all day.
Astbury competed fine in the ruck, had 12 disposals and 5 marks in his duel role. He did what he needed to do and that was to compete.

Hopefully that pattern continues next Friday Night with another W

Carn you Tigers win the next 2 and no one can throw barbs and salt at us for what we could achieve this year.

This is the hurdle, if the Tigers can turn over Port we win the Flag.

Well said, couldnt agree more

Richmond copped a double 50 from this game early in the year,in the last quarter, when the game was up for grabs.

Let’s hope our wonderful umpires have a great game this Friday night.
