Just remember also, if they were playing more youth in the centre we would prbe copping bigger defeats, I'm sure that wouldn't go down well either.
You'd probably find most would prefer we try different players in the middle even at the risk of getting thrashed even more than what we currently are.
Personally, I don't care how much we lose by if I'm seeing something different and our players are actually being developed meaningfully.

happy to, what he did was not on, don’t care if he’s not getting treated how he’d like to by the umpires, you just don’t lash out like he did
He was defending himself from the crows players assaulting him, wouldn't even get in trouble for that in the real world

Don't disagree that there should be a few more rotations, particularly with Ross ans Sonsie if they are in the team as they should have the tank and strength to play through there, with a few minutes for some of the more junior players.
Tarranto can spend some time forward, unfortunately Hopper is either in the middle or on the bench, same for Prestia really.

we're literally causing injuries by resting players too long and easing them back in to full game time too slowly
Pop the King Brown back in the fridge and have a lie down mate. That's enough internet for you today.
This might be one of the dumbest things I've read on here.

There is not a coach going round who would be changing these results. Where a bottom side and have 3 wins. Realistically 1-2 more than expected

Actually not a hard question to answer. The answer is no, a different coach wouldn't do better. Have you seen our forward line?

InIn regards to your question, how many players are currently playing who were part of the Dimma era? Let Yze continue to build the list and go from there. These few seasons will always be difficult.
See, I thought like y’all for a while, but I am doubting this now. Do you think the forward line would be this bad if we had a better head coach directing it? I can cop Faull fading in and out of the game, but kicking for goal is one of his strengths. Really puzzled as to why he’s kicking so badly. Sims was like this before the draft, but not Faull. Does Yze have what it takes to give players like this the confidence they need?

Also, I genuinely never saw our forward line this bad. Do we really need Taranto in the midfield over the forward line where he’s a proven goalkicker at GWS and Richmond? Some may say that we need Taranto in the midfield, but do we really need him there when he’s part of the worst midfield in the competition?

These are the questions I have, and they’re eroding my confidence in Yze. We’re a terrible side, but is that 100% to do with the list and absolutely nothing to do with Yze’s coaching? I’m not sure about that anymore.

I’m happy for him to stay on until the end of next year as he originally was contracted for, but if this keeps going well until next year, then we may have to prepare ourselves for a new coach. Just being honest here, because coaches have left for less regardless of what stage they’re in. 5 wins in 38 games isn’t looking good, and he wouldn’t want another season of this.

We’ve got a good crop of young midfield/transition player talent who haven’t been on the park for much of the journey. Your man hotton, Smillie, Kmac jr, juddo, even Lalor who did get some game time. I’d add trezise to that cos I like him. If Sonsie plays afl again it must be in the guts but his disposal is worse than Taranto’s even.

Btw sexiest avatar yet

It's exactly what the Australian cricket team did for years, and as soon as they stopped doing it the injuries stopped

The sports scientists are clueless, reality is not the same as their simulations

For starters
I’ve been pretty disappointed the way they’ve structured the fwd line with Lynch having to compete against two at least this season and wouldn’t surprise me if Lynch asked for more and they brought in Lefau.
The fact they didn’t send Balta fwd when Lefau went down and until after Lynch lost his sh.t makes me start to doubt Yze.
Lynch is a better talent and has had twice the career of anyone in our coaching box and they’ve asked his to hang around to help bring on the young fwds but geez for a bloke that’s been out for two years to just be left to get mauled by dbl teams and triple teams…I think that’s treating a bloke who helped get the clubs two flags without respect.
Pretty ordinary

Second thing
There is nothing I like about Taranto I’d prefer to see the back of him

Take a look at the forward line, though. Besides Lynch, how much game experience do we have there for most of the game? No doubt it’s an area of the side that lacks most. I doubt that’s on Yze.

Is Yze an asset or a problem?

I’m genuinely trying to give him the benefit of the doubt so I’m no hater of Yze at all, but our offence and midfield are just so inept. Last time our forward line was this bad was in the early 60s. Midfield is so slow too, and he’s choosing this midfield. I can’t help but wonder whether there are better coaches that could get our side to perform better.

Hard question to answer IMO with all the injuries that occur, but I’m probably not 100% on the Yze train like I was a few weeks ago. I’m starting to have my doubts
Well he did say last week he was excited and confident about our midfield taking on the dogs . 😂 think he must be smoking cones during the week
