Broad was solid in a champion team but in a rebuilding team and at the end of his career he is being shown up.
Why does he constantly get cheap kicks to then turn it over? Why does he kick on his left foot when he doesn’t have one? Why does he get out marked in one on ones constantly.

I've been a supporter of sonz but that's pure bs, macca will be a 200 game dual premiership player and is still contributing, sonz is nowhere bloody near that impact , I wish he was

5 years ago on a wing Mcintosh would be way better than Sonsie. On the wing now he may still be better than Sonsie. However playing as a midfield now Mcintosh is a liability. He either turns the ball over or kicks the ball to a contest. Everyone he has tagged this year has got 30+ possessions. Saying that Sonsie is a better midfielder than Mcintosh given Mcintosh’s form this year is hardly high praise but it is time to face reality.

Sonsie is soft in the contest and won’t put his head over the ball. I struggle to understand why people want him to be played in the middle? What’s going to change from the wing to the middle? Does he suddenly stop shirking contact, because there will be more bodies coming at him if he wants to play on board.

Totally agree. The only thing I would say is we also need a bit of an outside player in the middle that can use the ball and hit targets, any 3 of Tarranto, Hopper, Dow and Macca aren't really going to provide that.
They could have given Sonsie a decent number of CB's on the weekend to find out if he could do it but they didn't.
